NYC Cool Air Dominates With No Mild Day Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. Clouds have snuck into the area ahead of a milder airmass, but it’ll be to no avail tomorrow as we struggle to get it up here. With that, we will remain seasonably to unseasonably cool for the next 6-8 days.

Look for clouds this morning and maybe some late sunshine. Highs will stick around in the upper 50’s to low 60’s for a fairly cool day. Tomorrow’s mild air doesn’t make it, and stiff easterlies will hold us in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Upper 50’s to low 60’s will be the them to start the workweek as well, under increasing clouds for Monday. Scattered showers move in for Tuesday/Tuesday night ahead of our next system, and that’ll be the “warmest” day of the week with low to mid 60’s.

Unseasonably cool air returns for Wednesday with sunshine and highs only in the mid to upper 50’s.

Overall, we continue to struggle over the next couple of weeks unless something breaks. An active pattern will continue to bring reinforcing shots of cool air, while the maritime fights back every time milder air tries to push in.
