NYC Decent Days Ahead Hovering Between Average & Cooler Than Average
Good morning everyone. We have a decent but not perfect stretch coming up, and temps will range from cooler than average, to dead-on average as we go ahead. Best chance to see any warmth and humidity returning, remains towards the end of the workweek and to start next weekend.
SATELLITE
We’ll have variable cloudiness today and that seems to be the story through Tuesday. Clouds and sun will alternate through the day with the slight chance of a few scattered showers; highs in the low to mid 70’s. Tomorrow we’ll see the sunshine increase a bit, and that’ll help bring the temps up to the mid to upper 70’s. It’ll also rain free tomorrow before the next piece of energy approaches Monday.
Low pressure will swing through New England on Monday, and a trailing spoke of energy will swing on by. Sunshine, increased humidity, and highs 75-80, will help add the fuel for some scattered strong storms. We may have enough juice to pull off some isolated hail and strong winds.
We’ll have more near 80 degree temps Tuesday & Wednesday, with Tuesday being the last chance for some scattered showers. We dry out Wednesday for probably the best day of the week under mostly sunny skies.
Late week, mid 80’s and higher humidity may return Friday and Saturday, but we’ll keep an eye on any changes.
