Look for AM sun today, then increasing clouds as the day goes on. We’ll remain dry and seasonable with highs in the upper 70’s to near 80.

Humidity increases tomorrow and we’ll be mostly cloudy for much of the day. We’ll have the chance of some scattered showers with maybe a rumble or two of thunder.

WEATHER RADAR

The “big stuff” is what we’ll be watching for overnight Wednesday into early Thursday morning. This involves a wave of low pressure heading into central NY, and we’ll be keeping an eye on the radar to see if another wave forms to the east of it. If so, expect s period of heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms in the NYC Metro Area. This wave will be capable of gusty winds and possible flash flooding if it comes to fruition.

Sunshine will return by Thursday afternoon, and we’ll be in the near 80 realm. Sunshine stays for Friday, but we’ll increase the clouds late as our next system moves in for the weekend. Highs on Friday will be near 80 again for a seasonable, but non-perfect week.

Over the weekend, clouds and moisture will gather up and down the east coast for some gloom and scattered rain. Highs will hover in the below-average range with mid 70’s at best.
