NYC Forecast Lacks Any Major Systems
Good morning everyone. Relatively quiet, cold, and breezy conditions take hold as we oscillate back and forth from cold and cool weather over the course of the next 5-7 days. We also have no major systems on the horizon, with some scattered sprinkles and flurries possible tomorrow and Wednesday, then some light to moderate rain possible on Friday. We could also see some brief onset wet snowflakes and some wet snowflakes behind Friday’s system, but overall we don’t see anything outrageous going on.
SATELLITE
Look for sunshine today and breezy conditions with highs in the 35-40 range. We’ll ave some extra clouds tomorrow with more 35-40 degree temps. We could see some scattered showers and flurries as a weak area of energy passes by.
WEATHER RADAR
Wednesday is more of the same, but on the milder side with 40-45 degree temps. That means that any moisture leftover will be in the form of scattered sprinkles. Thursday is quiet and cold with mid 30’s, then we begin to cloud up ahead of Friday’s system.
Look for cloudy skies on Friday with the chance of some showers. Depending on how early precipitation arrives, we could see some onset wet flakes. Highs in the mid 40’s.
That system slowly slides to the east on Saturday as colder air heads in. With highs in the 30’s, leftover moisture may end as some wet snowflakes. Little to no accumulation is expected. Sunday is mostly cloudy and cold with highs in the mid 30’s.
