NYC Heat Relief Starts Monday

Good morning everyone. We have 2 more very warm/hot days left, then we see some more pleasant conditions Monday and Tuesday. We’ll also have to get through some more scattered storms overnight tomorrow, and some of those may be locally strong to severe.

SATELLITE

For today, we have full sunshine and near 90 temps. West winds will keep things on the relatively dry side, with dew points in the 50’s and humidity in the 50’s as well. Tomorrow we jack things up a bit with muggier conditions and more near 90 temps. Look for morning sunshine, PM increasing clouds, and the chance of scattered showers and storms late.

WEATHER RADAR

Our front swings through tomorrow night, bringing with it some sunshine and temps in the upper 70’s to low 80’s for Monday. Look for more of the same on Tuesday, then we go more humid and more clouds on Wednesday with near 80 degrees temps.

Thursday will be the warmest of the bunch as a new system approaches. We’ll have 85-90 degree temps, muggy conditions, and a chance of showers & storms. Friday looks like a winner, with mid 80’s and lower humidity.
