NYC Hot Stretch Gathering Momentum
Good morning everyone. Our small area of coastal energy is passing by and going out with a whimper. Clouds and a few scattered sprinkles will disappear, and the door is opening up to a 5-6 day stretch of heat. However, we will get there gradually and today is still a winner relatively speaking.

AM Clouds and a few scattered sprinkles will eventually give way to some sun. Clearing will take place southwest to northeast as that are of energy spins NNE into New England. We’ll increase the humidity, but near 80 temps will help keep things feeling civilized.
WEATHER RADAR
For your weekend, we start off rather tame tomorrow with a typical early summer day. Expect clouds and sun, increasing humidity, and highs in the mid 80’s. We’ll also have the slight chance of a shower or storm.
Sunday is where things start to get juicy and hot. We’ll keep the clouds and sun in the forecast, plus the chance of a shower or storm. It’ll be a humid one with highs near 90.
The heat keeps going Monday and into late week. Look for a mix of clouds and sun, the slight chance of a PM storm each day, and highs in the 90-95 range through Wednesday. Thursday is where things get questionable, so we’ll have to see the timing of our next front. So far it looks as if we may pull of 90+ again Thursday, and a possible bonus day Friday. Either way, cooler and drier air will be on the move and this might be a strong boundary. This means we’ll be watching for severe weather possibly Thurs or Fri.
