NYC Less Clouds This Week Than Previously Expected
Good morning everyone. We start off this Monday with some good news, and that’ll come in the form of less clouds expected this week as things move along a little more efficiently. It won’t be perfect, but we’ll get some more sun and less rain.
SATELLITE
For today, our first batch of rain is moving through the east end of Long Island and SE New England. Most of the energy will be going to our north and east today, but that’ll leave us in the clouds. We could also see some on and off showers here and there. Highs will be a muggy low to mid 70’s.
WEATHER RADAR
The same goes for tomorrow in terms of clouds and showers, and we’ll have a muggy near 70/low 70 type day. Some sunshine will break out on Wednesday, and we should have some blue patches and bright spots in between the clouds. We hover in the near 70/low 70 range, but at least we are rain-free.
We may see some extra sunshine on Thursday, but we’ll hold off on that for now. We’ll go for a mix of sun & clouds, no rain, and highs in the low to mid 70’s. Friday hangs on, but clouds will lower and thicken again for the weekend.
For the weekend, we’ll look for a new batch of moisture hung up along the east coast, but I’m not seeing any rainouts. Expect more clouds than sun, and the chance of a few showers each day.
