NYC March Fights Back After Mild Day Today
Good afternoon everyone. We have some bad news rolling in fast after a really nice day today. For today, NYC finds itself nicely sandwiched in between high pressure and a coastal storm drifting off of the Carolinas. Full sunshine and mild temps will be the flavor of the day, then the maritime air fights back hard as high pressure slips offshore and an onshore flow begins. We’ll be dealing with this all week in different stages, so here it goes.
SATELLITE
Sunshine, light winds, and mid 60’s rule the day today before things slowly go down hill tomorrow. It’ll be noticeably cool tomorrow as clouds begin to roll in. Highs in the mid 50’s at best.
WEATHER RADAR
Look for mostly cloudy skies and patchy drizzle on Thursday w/ stubborn easterlies. Highs will be 45-50 at best. We’ll have morning clouds, fog, and drizzle on Friday, with a few patches of blue skies late. Highs in the 50-55 range.
Clouds return on Saturday ahead of our next system with 55-60 degree temps, then a chance of some on and off showers on Sunday with 60-65 degree temps. Cooler and windier conditions roll in to start next workweek.
