NYC Mild Today & Thursday Cooler Next Week
Good morning everyone. We have a sunny and quiet day today and tomorrow as we await our next system. It looks as of Thursday will be milder than previously expected with precipitation holding back a little longer. However, low pressure will linger to our north in Canada, steering cooler air our way at the end of the weekend, onward.
SATELLITE
Today is an easy one, with sunshine and quiet conditions. We’ll be on the seasonably cool side, with upper 50’s to near 60 for highs. Milder air creeps in tomorrow at the cost of some morning clouds and showers. Sunshine will return though, and we’ll get into the upper 60’s to low 70’s depending on how much sunshine we get.
WEATHER RADAR
Clouds increase Wednesday ahead of our next system and we cool off a bit. Expect highs in the mid 60’s even though we remain precip-free. We’ll have the chance of late showers and storms Thursday, but it should hold off long enough to attain mid to upper 70’s. Clouds will be in the picture though, and we could see a few blue patches. Temps sink back down into the mid 60’s for Friday under clearing skies.
Clouds increase again Saturday ahead of a reinforcing shot of cool air and an energy spoke coming around that low from way up north. We’ll have the slight chance of showers with mid 60’s. Sunshine returns on Sunday, but so does the cool air. We’ll be in the mid to upper 50’s with sunshine doing little to warm us up.
