NYC More Rain Expected Halloween Looking Beautiful
Good morning everyone. Our Nor’easter is long gone and on the move well SE of Nova Scotia, but our next system is hot on its heels. The forecast itself is holding on all accounts, and after a rainy Friday night and showery Saturday, Halloween is looking fantastic.
SATELLITE
Full sunshine graces us today before clouds begin rolling in tonight. It’ll be dry and on the slightly cool side, but we’re “seasonable” for this time of year. Highs will be in the upper 50’s.
WEATHER RADAR
Clouds lower and thicken tomorrow, but I continue to think the rain holds off for much of the day. We could see a sprinkle or shower here and there, but the wider swath of steady rain won’t arrive till between 6-9pm. Highs tomorrow in the mid to upper 50’s.
We’ll have rain, heavy at times overnight tomorrow, with maybe a rumble or two of thunder. Flooding may be an issue due to oversaturated ground.
With low pressure hanging back and spinning away, we could see some morning showers on Saturday; then some spotty gusty showers or weak rumbles at any point in the afternoon/eve. Highs Saturday in the low 60’s.
Halloween looks great and continues to improve wind and temp-wise. With low pressure fading away, winds will be light and will help notch up the temps a bit. Expect sunshine and highs 60-65.
