NYC Nice Week Ahead Plus Long Range Outlook

NYC Nice Week Ahead Plus Long Range Outlook

Good morning everyone. We have some clouds beginning to sneak into the area as a swath of rain is just to the west/southwest of us. Some of those showers may find their way in here, but we still have a fairly decent day. Overall we have a nice Sunday and beautiful workweek, plus I make a Hail-Mary pass to see if I can nail the Memorial Day weekend outlook.

Clouds enter the picture today, over and thicken, and we could see a few showers. It’ll still be a mild/warm one, with highs 75-80 in most spots. It’ll be cooler to our WSW with the stubborn clouds and steadier rain.

Sunshine returns tomorrow, and it’ll be dry and mild with highs in the mid 70’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Sunshine continues on Monday with mid 70’s and dry conditions, then we go slightly more humid with more sunshine and highs Tuesday near 80.

Wednesday we cool off with sunshine and a steady breeze, highs still pleasant in the 65-70 range.

I step back 10 yards and wind up to try and throw a bomb into the end-zone for Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a tricky one since the pattern itself is tricky, but I’ll make the attempt. Right now it looks like the pattern towards the end of the month will be a convoluted mish-mosh of very mild to very cool temps and stubborn clouds at times.

For those who start their weekend that Friday, it may be on the cool, cloudy and/or showery side with highs ranging from 55-65. Saturday things will start to clear up with milder temps in the low 70’s. Then Sunday and Monday are looking like the better days of the holiday weekend with milder/warmer temps and more sunshine.

Let’s see how it plays out and of course, we will fine-tune things as we get closer.
