NYC Nor’easter Trends East With Morning Model Runs
Good morning everyone. For those waking up and hoping that we’d still have models showing a rip-roaring Nor’easter on our hands, you’re in for a disappointment. However, it’s still early in the game and there’s a chance for more disappointment or rejoicing. We continue to remain quiet otherwise, and we have a few cold days after today.
SATELLITE
We’ll have sunshine today and low 40’s for highs, but very cold air is on the move again and we dip into the upper teens tonight Sunshine continues tomorrow, and we’ll be in the mid to upper 20’s at best. Lows overnight will range in the upper single digits to mid teens depending on your location.
WEATHER RADAR
Sunshine remains on Thursday before we begin watching our next system. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to near 30.
We’ll continue to watch the path of our new system, but regardless, clouds increase on Friday with low otmid 30’s. There will be a chance of light snow after sunset, and we’ll have to wait and see what the intensity will be for the rest of the system.
Again, depending on the final track of our system, we’ll either have snow continuing on Saturday (intensity depends on track), or snow quickly ending if things trend more offshore. Stay tuned and we will see where this goes.
