NYC Quiet Week Continues Through Weekend
Good late morning everyone. We remain on cruise control here with an easy forecast until Monday. Till then, we’ll enjoy dry conditions with varying amounts of cold, chilly weather, and even a “mild” day thrown in there tomorrow.
SATELLITE
High level clouds have spread across the area in what will represent milder air coming in for tomorrow. Today though remains cool, but at least it’s not windy out. Look for highs in the mid 40’s throughout most of the area.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow, we’ll have some extra sunshine and seasonal conditions. We remain dry, winds remain calm, and low 50’s are a decent bet. Upper 40’s may linger for parts of Long Island.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Cold air pushes back in tomorrow night as we drop into the 20’s, then Saturday may not recover out of the 30’s. Expect sunny skies, breezy conditions, and highs in the upper 30’s to near 40, maybe.
Sunday we modify slightly back into the mid 40’s, but clouds begin to roll in with our next system to the south/southwest. We’ll remain dry, but a light, cold rain may move in late Sunday night/early Monday morning.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
For now, a coastal system looks to brush us on Monday. There won’t be enough cold air in place for snow here, but it could be a damp, raw, day with a cold light rain. A few spots N&W of the area could see some sleet mixed in at times, especially during the onset and exit.
Whatever happens, we are left with breezy and seasonal conditions mid-week next week, and then we’ll watch another system to see what that one does. Everything looks like rain so for as systems either brush us or run up to our west and north.
