NYC Rainy Pattern Continues With Little Relief In Sight
Good morning everyone. We’re catching a little break this morning before more rain returns over the course of the next hour or so, then we continue this short space in between systems. Your weekend is looking like a split, and this pattern doesn’t seem to want to break, with any hopes fading for a cut-off low slowing things down.
SATELLITE
We are socked in with the clouds and another batch of moderate rain is heading our way. We should have on and off rain till 11am-1pm, but the clouds stick around. Expect a raw day in the near 50 range and a stiff maritime flow.
REGIONAL RADAR
Sunshine ensues tomorrow with slightly below average temps in the upper 50’s to near 60, but clouds increase late.
Another rainmaker will be heading in overnight tomorrow, with the steadiest rain moving in after noon Sunday. Rain may be heavy at times and we could see some localized flooding in poor drainage areas. Highs near 50 on Sunday with a stiff NE breeze.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Rain may linger Monday AM, then we could see some partial clearing late. Highs will be in the mid 50’s, then we go to near 60 on Tuesday with some sunshine and a breeze.
Clouds will increase Wednesday with more rain heading in late and into Thursday with more 55-60 degree temps.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
We continue to have issues breaking this pattern, and with no cut-off low, it’ll continue to push low pressure systems our way every 3-4 days. Look for below average temps to continue for the most part, with a near average to average day here or there.
