NYC Scattered Showers Storms Possible Today

Good morning everyone. Our wave of low pressure has arrived, and most of the energy is to our north and west as expected. However, we still have sun energy in the area, and we might not be 100% out of the woods yet. Tomorrow, unseasonably cool air locks in until we modify on Monday.

SATELLITE

Clouds are in, but we could see some blue patches today. Low pressure goes N&W of NYC, but we could see some tail-end action in the form of scattered showers and storms. Any storm we may see, could contain small hail and gusty winds. Highs today in the mid to upper 50’s.

Sunshine returns tomorrow, but we have a stiff breeze and highs in the low 50’s at best.

WEATHER RADAR

Things modify on Monday with more sunshine and near 60 temps. Tuesday will start off with some morning clouds and possibly a shower as warmer air moves in, but it’ll be the nicest day of the week as we near 70 degrees.

Clouds increase on Wednesday with our next system, and that’ll drop the temps a few degrees back towards the seasonable realm. We’ll have the chance of some rain on Thursday with more mid 60’s, and we may hold on to some clouds and rain for Friday.
