NYC Seasonably Comfortable Weather Into Next Week
Good morning everyone. We don’t have much going on and things look to stay that way for a little while. A fairly large and stretched out system will pass through on Saturday, but it’s quiet before and quiet after. As of now, there’s no extreme weather in either direction expected in the short or medium range, so let’s get to the forecast.
SATELLITE
Sunshine rules the roost today through Thursday, with 40-45 degree temps through the stretch. We may creep past 45 on Thursday as we gear up for our next system, but maybe by a degree or two.
We’ll have AM sunshine Friday, then increasing clouds late. That’s in response to our next system, and we’ll be in the “mild” sector on this one. Expect highs near 50, cooler at the shore.
Scattered showers head in overnight Friday, and that should last till some time between 11am and 2pm Saturday. Don’t be surprised to see a few wet flakes mixed in as everything departs, Highs Saturday in the low to mid 40’s, and becoming windy as we clear out.
Sunday looks windy and near-seasonal, with highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.
To start next week, the sun returns as does the dry weather & average temps in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.
