NYC Showery Thundery Day Today

Good morning everyone. Our unsettled and cool week continues as we continue to watch a feature on the models that simply doesn’t want to go away. That feature is a coastal system that’ll impact our weather for parts of Friday and into Saturday even though the big “action” will be to the east of us.

Today is simply just not a nice day. The clouds are here and the rain is on its way. Look for showers developing with the chance of a few rumbles of thunder. Highs will continue on the cool side, with mid to upper 60’s at best.

Tomorrow we clear out, but the wind machine is on and the cool temps stick around. Expect more mid 60’s even with the sun. Friday isn’t much better as clouds increase with our next system, the slight chance of a shower, and a cool maritime flow developing. Highs in the mid 60’s.

The weekend continues to look unsettled and cool to very cool. Low pressure wraps up and will brush the New England area, sending clouds our way and the chance of a few showers. The big story through with this system, will be that may may not get out of the 50’s on Saturday for a very cool & raw day. Mother’s Day will be a slight improvement, but we remain in the 60’s with the slight chance of showers.
