NYC Slow Recovery Today Plus Easter Forecast
Good morning everyone. Our coastal low pressure system continues to slowly pull away. As it does, we still have cool air locked into the region, but we will see some improvement tomorrow as far as temps. We also look into next weekend for your Easter holiday.
SATELLITE
Clouds continue to spin in from the north and northeast, but we could see a few blue breaks later today. It’ll be a cool one with highs 50-55 at best.
WEATHER RADAR
We’ll see full sunshine tomorrow, then increasing clouds late. Highs will be milder in the 60-65 range. Look for the risk of a few showers overnight tomorrow, then some AM showers and PM clearing Tuesday. Highs 60-65 again.
Windy and cooler conditions settle in for Wednesday, with highs sinking into the low to mid 50’s. Winds will relax on Thursday as temps will respond accordingly in the 55-60 degree range. Friday looks like the best day of the week, with sunny skies and increasing clouds late. Highs in the mid 60’s.
Scattered showers creep in Friday night and could last through Sunday. It won’t be a washout by any stretch, but we’ll see clouds and showers coming and going over a 48-72hr span. It’ll be milder on Saturday with highs 65-70, and we could see a repeat for Easter Sunday.
