NYC Steady Rain Holds Off Till Mid Morning Tomorrow
Good morning everyone. We have another mild one today before clouds roll in late, then a showery and raw Saturday. Overall, it is not a major system, and we remain fairly quiet over the next several days & beyond.
SATELLITE
Just like yesterday, you couldn’t ask for a better day in December. Look for an AM mix of sun and clouds, then increasing clouds late. It’ll be breezy with highs in the low to mid 60’s throughout most spots.
WEATHER RADAR
We could see a sprinkle or some scattered showers before sunrise tomorrow and early morning, but I think the steady rain holds off till mid morning. As of now, I’m going to go with the chance of some steady rain between the hours of 10am and 2pm, then becoming more of a scattered/on & off variety again. It’ll be breezy, chilly, and raw, with highs only in the low to mid 40’s.
Areas in the Hudson Valley could see a light to moderate mix of rain and wet snow, and higher elevations north of Albany could see some light snow.
We clear out and go breezy and chilly for Sunday with highs in the low 40’s, then the core of the cold air drifts over us for Sunday night/Monday. Lows will be in the low to mid 20’s overnight Sunday, then more breezy conditions and highs in the upper 30’s to near 40 on Monday. After that, we quickly modify into a more seasonable mid 40’s Tuesday and onward under quiet conditions.
