NYC Stubborn Pattern Persists With Nice Days Here And There

Good afternoon everyone. We have another nice but breezy and seasonably cool day here today. Meanwhile, cloudy and raw weather returns tomorrow, with overall cool weather for early to mid-May continuing onward.

Look for sunshine continuing through the afternoon, then clouds will start creeping in late. A steady northwesterly breeze will continue, and highs will be a seasonably cool near 60.

REGIONAL RADAR

Rain creeps in my late morning/early afternoon tomorrow for a cloudy, showery, and raw day. Easterly winds and highs in the mid 50’s will give tomorrow a late November feel.

Rain clears out by early Thursday morning, then some late blue patches could help get us into the low to mid 60’s depending on how much sunshine we get.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

Rain returns on Friday afternoon for another free day of lawn watering. Highs in the low to mid 60’s will keep it from feeling too raw, but a nice day it won’t be.

We play the game again over and over, and Saturday is looking like a clouds and sun-type day, with a stiff breeze, and chilly temps in the mid to upper 50’s. Cool weather continues for Sunday, with less wind but mid to upper 50’s remain.

Overall we’re just having a really tough time breaking this pattern as we continue to kick the can down the road in terms of any hope for change. Rain comes in and out every few days, then sunny, windy, and cool; then a mild day here or there before rain returns.
