NYC Very Hot Conditions Expected Midweek
Good afternoon everyone. Mild & muggy conditions grace the area due to some clouds and thundershowers slipping off to our southwest. Areas of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island are getting brushed, but the real action is across south Jersey. We’ll slowly turn up the heat going forward, with the crescendo being Wednesday. As rain and a few rumbles depart to our SSW, look for decreasing clouds as the evening/night wears on. We’ll stick around in the upper 70’s to low 80’s, then look for mid to upper 60’s overnight.
WEATHER RADAR
Tomorrow looks like a typical summer day here in NYC, with sunshine and highs in the mid 80’s.
Humidity starts to build up on Monday with mid to upper 80’s; then we vault back into the low to mid 90’s on Tuesday. Wednesday looks like our peak, with highs 95-100. We settle down, but only by a few degrees on Thursday. Highs will hit the low to mid 90’s. Friday doesn’t look much better, with more low 90’s and no relief rain-wise.
