NYC Very Quiet Pattern Temporarily

Good morning everyone. We continue to dry out under sunshine and seasonably cool temps. There’s not much going on, and I don’t mean “temporarily” in an ominous way for our headline. Our area in the Northeast remains pretty quiet for the next week or so, with little in the way of organized, big duration rains; and that’s a good thing.

We continue today with yesterday’s sunshine and breezy conditions. Humidity will also be low with highs seasonably cool mid 70’s.

WEATHER RADAR

We remain in the 70’s throughout the weekend, but we’ll achieve that 2 different ways. Tomorrow we do it the best way, with sunshine, mid to upper 70’s, and more dry conditions but less wind. For Sunday, clouds will help keep us in the mid to upper 70’s, with the slight chance of a few showers as a cold front passes by. Not everyone will see rain, and don’t expect any flooding problems.

Full sunshine returns for Labor Day on Monday, and we’ll have dry & comfortable near 80 temps.

Next week remains mostly quiet with no rain expected till some time on Wednesday or Thursday with our next cold front. That cold front will probably be the one to help us keep Hurricane Larry away from the coast, and we are projecting he will get caught up in that system.
