NYC Warmup Begins Today Quiet Week Continues
Good morning everyone. The tropics are beginning to settle down after a very busy 2 week peak season, and we have ourselves a little warmup on the way. Nothing extreme is expected in either direction, but 80 degrees for the next 3 days is a likely outcome.
SATELLITE
We have beautiful clear skies today, low humidity, and warming conditions as the day goes on. Expect highs near 80 in most spots. Locally, expect the water to still be churned up a bit as Teddy fizzles out over Nova Scotia. Lows overnight will be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.
REGIONAL RADAR
Look for a carbon-copy day tomorrow, with each morning starting off seasonal and comfortable. We’ll have dry conditions, blue skies, and highs near 80 again. Low’s overnight will be in the 60-65 range and comfortable.
Friday will pretty much be a 3-peat, with partly cloudy skies, upper 70’s to near 80, and dry conditions.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Your weekend forecast continues to hold and we’ll cool off slightly on Saturday. Look for a light breeze, sunshine, and highs in the low to mid 70’s.
Sunday we’ll creep back up to the upper 70’s to near 80, with some clouds and sun. You may see a widely scattered shower or two late, but I wouldn’t cancel any outdoor plans.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Mild to warm weather continues starting next week, with the slight chance of a few showers or a rumble Monday and Tuesday before we begin to cool off again with crisp nights.
