NYC Workweek Forecast

Good morning everyone. After the clouds break up, we have a beautiful workweek ahead for about 80% of it. That other 20% will be in the form of a strong cold front due into the region on Friday. Behind it, chilly air and blustery conditions pay off visit on Saturday and Sunday. In areas upstate such as Syracuse and the Adirondacks, we could see rain changing to a wintry mix and snow showers before things come to an end. Looking even further down the road, we may see a milder end of October if it all works out trend-wise. Let’s focus on the week ahead below….

SATELLITE

After a cloudy start, we’ll see some blue breaks later on as temps in the low 70’s depending on the sunshine factor. Milder air sneaks in tomorrow with some extra sunshine and mid 70’s.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll keep that mojo going for one more day on Wednesday, with more sunshine and highs 75-80º. Things cool off on Thursday, with temps in the mid to upper 60’s under sunshine. Clouds increase Thursday night ahead of that next cold front. Look for scattered showers and maybe a rumble of thunder on Friday. Highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s and breezy.

By the time our cold front passes Friday night, much cooler air filters in with blustery conditions. Look for highs in the low to mid 50’s on Saturday. Overnight we go chilly as lows sink into the 35-40º range. On Sunday, we modify slightly with lighter winds, sunshine, and highs in the mid to upper 50’s.
