SUMMER DOMINATES SEVEN DAY STRETCH – Good hot morning everyone! There’s hardly a cloud in the sky and we’re in the mid 70’s already heading to near 90 today. Tomorrow will be the only relief as we cool off to temps still above average and in the mid to upper 80’s. We’ll see a chance of a scattered shower or storm tomorrow and Tuesday as a frontal boundary wiggles back and forth, but then pushes fully through by Tuesday eve.
We’ll see highs in the upper 80’s to near 90 Tuesday, then the hot air fully moves in Wednesday through Friday; with low 90’s Wednesday and Thursday, then upper 80’s to near 90 Friday with oppressive dew points. On Saturday, the heat will try to hang on with temps 85-90°, but we’ll have to wait and see if we’re closer to 85, or closer to 90. We could also eek out on more very warm and humid day next Sunday as I keep an eye on the prospect of a rather strong cold front which could drastically cool things off for several days before heat tries to return early August.
