ANOTHER NYC TRICKY TROPICAL FORECAST

ANOTHER NYC TRICKY TROPICAL FORECAST – Good early morning folks. It’ll be another NYC tropical day of watching radars and trying to finesse the forecast into something somewhat accurate.

Just as in yesterday, storms can and will pop up at any time today. The question is, who sees them? The answer is, we won’t know until the radar begins to get action as low pressure and afternoon sun help work the atmosphere. So for today, expect some scattered morning fog, muggy and juicy, with the chance of scattered heavy showers and storms; highs a dank low 80’s. Anyone who sees the action will experience torrential rainfall with the possibility of localized flooding with slow moving storms.

Tomorrow, we repeat the pattern except the action will be even more scattered as our energy begins to collapse. Look for a few more peeks of sun with highs a muggy mid 80’s. Wednesday through Friday continue to look hot and humid with highs near 90. On Friday, we could see some thunderstorm action with a weak front lurking in the area.

Over the weekend, Saturday might wind up being a bonus hot day, with highs in the upper 80’s to near 90 as of this moment. Then we wait to see if an onshore flow edges its way in for Sunday with cooler temps, before front-related heat returns for early/mid next week.
