BEAUTIFUL SUNNY NYC TGIF AHEAD
BEAUTIFUL SUNNY NYC TGIF AHEAD
BEAUTIFUL SUNNY NYC TGIF AHEAD – Good mostly sunny afternoon everyone! We have a decent day unfolding here with temps wavering between the 60’s and 70’s and clouds and sun alternate. With this ongoing pattern in the New York City metro area, we have to look for little nuggets of gold, and we can find them if we look carefully.
Bouts of full sun and mixed clouds will continue for the rest of the day, then clouds will increase tonight. Highs are pretty much where they’ll be today, with 60’s in the shade and 70’s in the sun. Those increasing clouds won’t amount to much, but they represent a temporary change in air masses. Clouds and sun will be with us again tomorrow, but a southerly breeze will make those 70’s feel a touch more humid.
We actually dry out a bit humidity-wise on Friday with a westerly breeze, but turn up the heat with full sunshine and 80-85 for most of the area. Clouds return on Saturday for a two-part chance of rain. First, we’ll have a shot at some morning to early afternoon showers; then a break with temps ranging from the low to upper 70’s depending on how much sunshine we get; then the slight chance of some showers and storms in the afternoon. It looks like we salvage Sunday somewhat, with no rain but clouds stick around. Look again for low to upper 70’s depending on how much sun we get.
Our entrance into next week looks sunny and dry, with mid to upper 70’s possible Monday and Tuesday, then we turn up the humidity and temps a few notches for some upper 70’s to mid 80’s (depending on how much sun we get), and the usual chance of some showers and storms from mid week onward. Again, no rainouts in sight, but it’ll remain and battle between tropical air, maritime air, and stubborn clouds at times.
