EARLY CLEARING NYC TODAY – Good morning everyone and good news for the NYC area. Things have begun to clear out a little earlier than expected, and the same story will be for Tuesday’s system, as it’s not expected to hang around anymore into Thursday evening. For today, partial clearing will commence into the afternoon, with a west wind 10-15mph and highs near 50. Tonight, things clear out temporarily, lighter winds, and low temps in the mid to upper 30’s.
Clouds will increase tomorrow with a chance of some light rain by late afternoon, highs around 45. There will be a chance of some steadier rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with some localized flooding possible for the morning rush hour in areas with poor drainage. The threat of some light rain will continue into Wednesday afternoon, then some partial clearing, highs in the upper 40’s. On Thursday, the threat of rain has diminished and it will be a dry day with clods and sun, highs in the mid 40’s. Friday and Saturday will be sunny and cold, don’t expect the highs to go any higher than the upper 30’s, with lows in the upper 20’s.

EARLY CLEARING NYC TODAY – Things have progressed a little faster today and for the week. Dry conditions for the rest of today and into tonight, then rain moves back in late Tuesday afternoon with our system by the TX, LA, AK border moving northeast.
