HURRICANE FLORENCE EAST COAST CONCERNS GROW

HURRICANE FLORENCE EAST COAST CONCERNS GROW

Good afternoon everyone. While we still have a long way to go and there will be changes/fine tuning in the forecast, Hurricane Florence is running out of opportunities to evade the East Coast.

We still have a some nuances left that can change the playing field, but the scope is starting to narrow as the GFS and Euro are starting to agree that the mid-Atlantic could potentially be in trouble. However, there are differences in the models once the models put it off of North/South Carolina.

The EURO rows her inland, and GFS curving north and up the coast inland or near-inland. Again, much can change, but with our main models having Florence lurking off of the mid-Atlantic we must bring our concern up a notch.

Tomorrow is a new day and I’d take the evening models with a grain of salt for now. Let’s see what it looks like tomorrow morning and again, Sunday should give us the clearest picture and a better idea of who will be affected first if anyone at all.

Stay tuned!
