NYC Air Quality Issues Remain
Good afternoon everyone. We’re on the mark as far as high temps excepted today, but off the mark as that haze/smoke has proven very hard to get rid of. Regardless, we are still on the path for a hot day tomorrow, and we’ll add into the mix the chance of a late storm. Your weekend remains a cool one courtesy of a back door cold front.

Look for more air quality issues today and tomorrow, with highs today pretty much where they’re at. 80-85 will be it, with cooler conditions along the immediate shore.
Tomorrow is a hot one as we shoot for 90. Some areas, especially west of Manhattan, could break into the low 90’s. Again, cooler conditions along the immediate shore. Our back door cold front will also try to arrive a little earlier, so we will add into the mix the chance of an isolated storm. These types of fronts are tricky and rarely spark off widespread action, but anyone who does see a storm, could see gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning, and torrential rain.
WEATHER RADAR
Clouds and sun with scattered showers will be the conditions to dot the region Saturday through the start of your workweek. We’ll see cool conditions on Saturday with mid 60’s, then we modify a bit to 65-70 degree weather on Sunday.
