NYC August Continues Showing Very Comfortable Moments

NYC August Continues Showing Very Comfortable Moments

Good afternoon everyone. We continue looking at the long range since things are relatively quiet in the area till Friday. Run after run, we’re showing a shift in the pattern that will equate to some opportunities for some Canadian air and much more comfortable conditions. That being said, it’s still August, so we also have a mix between comfortably warm temps, and some hot conditions here and there.

Expect mostly sunny and quiet conditions today. It’ll be a beautiful one with highs in the low 80’s.Humidity will increase slightly tomorrow as our next system nears, but we remain on the comfortable side with low 80’s again. Clouds will increase overnight, and we could see a shower or storm before sunrise.

WEATHER RADAR

On and off showers and storms Friday will ride the next front representing less humid air for our weekend. Most of the energy should be to our north and east, but we will still see some action down here. Some of those storms could reach severe limits. Highs in the low 80’s again.

We don’t cool down this weekend, but we’ll be more comfortable compared to Friday. Expect sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80’s for both Saturday and Sunday.

Looking ahead, we have the opportunity for some very warm to hot conditions mid week next week into next Friday. Temps could range from the upper 80’s to low 90’s with humid conditions before a strong cold front breaks the heat and humidity. That’ll return us to low 80 temps and much lower humidity for the following weekend.
