NYC Beautiful Two Days Ahead Before Things Go Downhill
Good morning everyone. Low pressure continues to spin off of Nova Scotia, giving us a steady NW flow, but far enough away to keep the clouds away. That’ll sandwich us in between it and our next system that’ll begin to bring clouds on Friday.

We continue our nice weather, but with less wind today compared to yesterday. I would still categorize our NW flow as “steady” rather than blustery, but it’ll feel warmer and be warmer today. Expect sunshine all day with highs 65-70. We’ll keep those 65-70 degree conditions going, with maybe a few clouds in the area. However, sunshine remains dominant and the winds dial back even more for a nice day.
Thursday is when we slowly begin our decline, with cooler air moving in even though the sunshine remains. Look for low to mid 60’s for highs. Clouds begin to creep in overnight, and Friday is looking mostly cloudy with 55-60 degree conditions.
Our weekend remains somewhat gloomy, with more clouds than sunshine Saturday and mid to upper 50’s; then even more clouds on Sunday with the chance of some rain. Highs Sunday will be a raw mid 50’s.
Our long range remains questionable at best, with systems having a hard time moving out of the region. Today and tomorrow’s beautiful weather may be the “mildest” temps we see for another week or two.
