NYC Breezy Comfortable Day Afternoon Isolated Shower Storm Possible

NYC Breezy Comfortable Day Afternoon Isolated Shower Storm Possible

Good morning everyone. We have a beautiful day in store for us today, with one small hiccup possible this afternoon before we resume the awesomeness. Tomorrow is looking incredible, with temps slightly below average, but in a good/comfortable way.

SATELLITE

We have a sunny start today before a spoke of energy comes down from the north. This is spinning off from low pressure well to our NNE, all the way up in Canada; and will help reinforce the cooler, drier air. Think of yesterday where we had those surprise pop up showers/storms mid afternoon, except these won’t be a surprise.

Most of the action will be inland, but a few could make it down here, so we’ll put it in the forecast. Any of these isolated cells could be capable of gusty winds and small hail. Then, the energy is gone late afternoon, and we resume a nice day if we get anything at all. Highs today in the low to mid 80’s and comfortable.

Tomorrow is looking simply perfect for this time of a year. It’ll be great weather for walking around or having a BBQ, with very low humidity, a nice comfortable light breeze, sunny skies, and highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.

Monday is still looking nice and warm with sunny skies, but the wind profile might not be there for upper 80’s to near 90. Regardless and at minimum, we are still back into the mid 80’s, with still a dry feel to the air.

Tuesday still seems like best chance for showers and storms, with increasing humidity. We’ll have highs in the mid 80’s again, and I think we hold onto low to mid 80’s throughout the week.

In the long range, next weekend continues to look possibly very warm to hot. Plus, hope continues to fade for those who were banking on some long-lived early fall relief.
