NYC COLD PERIOD UNDERWAY STORM CONCERNS FOCUSED SOUTH
Good morning from the clinker everyone. Cold air is here in New York City with no chance of parole for quite some time. Meanwhile, our next system continues to look suppressed to our south and not budging as of now.
EASTERN SATELLITE
Winds have finally calmed down, the sun is out, but cold air is locked in. Look for temps in the mid to upper 30’s today and clouds will be in and out as the day goes on.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow, a reinforcing shot of cold air will near. In yesterday’s forecast, I discussed the possibility of a sprinkle or flurry during this process. Since it’ll be happening at night, flurries it is. Look for the chance of a few scattered snow showers after midnight and before sunrise Friday. Highs 35-40 tomorrow, then a stiff breeze, sunny, and highs in the mid to upper 30’s Friday.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
For our weekend, cold air pushes in to its full potential. Expect sunny skies and low to mid 30’s Saturday, and pretty much the same for Sunday give or take a degree or two. This continues to look like the death-knell for that system to our Southeast in terms of it being able to make it up here. Highs pressure just seems too entrenched to let anything further north than Cape May, NJ at maximum as of now.
We will still be keeping an eye on things for any last minute changes as we still have some time to go.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
A quick note this morning about what transpired on Facebook yesterday/overnight. For quite some time, we’ve had someone creating fake/alternate accounts and harassing Joe and I on our professional Facebook pages. Every time a new account would pop up, we’d ban and delete immediately after their statements fit the pattern and writing syntax of this particular person. Recently, we figured out who it was because they used their regular account to do their bidding and rightfully called them to the floor on their actions. (Joe had recently deleted a derogatory comment about me and banned the person, again)
Confronting bullying and harassment is not bullying and harassment. Neither I or Joe made any threats whatsoever and I will never let anyone bully and harass me or anyone else without standing up and defending myself or others.
Bullying and harassment is wrong, but we have come so full circle and afraid of our own shadow, that bullies have actually become stronger in this environment. A bully can now do their thing without impediment, because they cry when people fight back, and those in power listen; making the ACTUAL victim of bullying and harassment, the perpetrator in this bizarre new world we live in.
That being said, neither Joe or I have taken part in bullying or harassment and we will always take the proper steps to fight it at every corner of this earth. We stand by our product and enjoy the friendly and fun forum we’ve created. Not 1 individual’s behavior or thoughtless algorithm can take that away from us.
