NYC Cool Pattern Continues

Good morning everyone. Cloudy, damp, and raw conditions continue today as a wave of low pressure slowly pulls away. Overall, we are locked in a very cool pattern aside from a day or two here and there. Tomorrow will be one of those days with a little bit of a break, but nothing outrageous is expected as far as mildness or warmth. Check out the latest below…

SATELLITE

We have a cloudy and unseasonably chilly start this morning as temps hover in the mid 40’s at best. Eventually, things begin to slowly clear out, but it’s going to take some time. Northeasterlies will ensure we remain cool today, with highs in the mid to upper 50’s at best & depending on the sunshine later on.

WEATHER RADAR

Tomorrow and Tuesday are great days to get out and enjoy the sunshine if you have the means. Look for full sunshine and mid 60’s each day. Tuesday could be cooler at the shore due to NE winds switching to the SE, but it’s still a decent day overall. Clouds creep in overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday with the slight chance of PM showers. Highs will hover near 60 depending on if there are any blue breaks or not. Look for morning rain on Thursday, then partial clearing with mid to upper 50’s. Friday is dry and sunny, but we hover in that 55-60º range for a familiar theme.

Looking into next weekend, we could see some clouds and widely scattered showers on Saturday. Highs will be in the 50’s again, then we watch for our next weak system approaching from the west on Sunday. Depending on the timing, it’ll dictate how Sunday goes. However, it still looks we are stuck in that 55-60º prison for a little while longer.
