NYC Dry Week Ahead & Rough Week For Allergy Sufferers

Good morning and achoooo….I’ll get the sneezing started because it’s going to be a rough one this week for me and others. Our latest system is departing and high pressure will lock into the area for the next 5-7 days. We continue to have a chance of some milder weather late weekend, but the best we can do for the short range is cool to seasonably cool.

Clouds stick around this morning, then they’ll begin to thin out as partial clearing ensues late. Highs today in the low to mid 60’s. Sunshine returns tomorrow, but low to mid 60’s continue tomorrow and Wednesday.

Temps begin to creep up towards the more seasonable realm, although it’ll stick be slightly below average with mid to upper 60’s both Thursday and Friday. Our first chance of 70 degree weather will be on Saturday, then we may be in the low to mid 70’s Sunday IF the wind profile works out.

The long range continues to look very wonky and we’ve basically been stuck in the same or similar pattern for the past 6-8 weeks. Expect a few mild opportunities, but a cooler than average pattern drives the big picture over the next 2 weeks.
