NYC Early Fall Weather Timed Perfectly To Begin Season

Good morning everyone. For the most part, 80’s have disappeared off the map and replaced with more typical 70’s as the seasons begin to change. This will hold pretty strong, and we’re still watching for a possible cooler blast near or after the start of October. Aside from that, we are quiet except for the tropics; however, none of our active systems are expected to directly impact the East Coast.

We have an easy one today and tomorrow, with sunshine each day. We’ll have mid 70’s today, mid to upper 70’s tomorrow as our next system approaches.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds increase Wednesday with our slow moving cold front. It’ll be warmer and more humid, with highs in the upper 70’s to near 80. If the clouds hold off a bit and we see some extra sunshine, we may see a few low 80’s here and there. Winds will also increase ahead of this front with a strong southerly fetch.

On and off showers and a few rumbles move in for Wednesday night, and that’ll continue into Thursday. Highs Thursday in the mid to upper 70’s. It’ll also be on the windy side as that strong southerly fetch continues.

We may hold onto some showers Friday morning, then expect partial clearing late. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s with breezy conditions.

Your weekend is looking perfect, with sunshine and seasonable low to mid 70’s. We continue to watch the first weekend in October, where much cooler air may pay a visit, possibly even in the unseasonably cool category.
