NYC Hot Conditions Tomorrow With Possible Evening Storms

Good evening everyone. We had a sunny, beautifully warm day today with pretty much the best conditions you can get as we near mid-July. Tomorrow is a different story though as humidity and heat move in, then scattered severe weather may impact the Tri-State later in the evening.

As we head into the night, upper 70’s won’t sink down much with more moisture heading in. Expect low to mid 70’s overnight, giving us a good jumping off point for tomorrow’s heat.

We’ll have sunshine, humid conditions, and low 90’s tomorrow, then we will be watching the radar closely to see what pops, where it goes, and if anything makes it to the shore. This is the typical summer game we play, so all we can do is watch. Right now it looks as if most of the energy will be going to our northeast and southwest, but anything that does pop and potentially sneak in, could be severe in nature. Biggest risk will be damaging winds, torrential rain, frequent lightning, and small hail.

WEATHER RADAR

Any thunderstorms that do move through, won’t help with the heat overnight tomorrow or into Wednesday. Lows overnight will only dip into the mid 70’s, then we go for low 90’s again on Wednesday with sunshine. It’ll be slightly drier, with no storms expected.

Thursday thru Sunday look very warm to hot as we hang out in the upper 80’s Thursday and Friday, then approach 90 again for Saturday and Sunday. For the weekend, each day might see a scattered storm.
