NYC JUNE MISH MOSH WEATHER CONTINUES
NYC JUNE MISH MOSH WEATHER CONTINUES – Good morning everyone. The mish in the mosh has returned today after a surprising warm and humid one yesterday. We had a few tropical downpours yesterday, which will be replaced with the familiar easterly, raw flow we’ve been experiencing on and off for the past month.
Any lingering showers and drizzle will be replaced by thinning clouds and maybe even a few breaks of sun. However, that stiff easterly wind will keep things cool today with highs in the mid 60’s for most areas. Maybe we can eek out a few upper 60’s to near 70 IF we see a little bit more sun out of this process.
Tonight, rain returns and lasts though mid to late morning tomorrow. A northerly breeze will keep things equally cool, and a lack of sunshine will keep us in the low 60’s at best. On Tuesday, we modify slightly, but the chance of a shower remains with us, especially when the sun works on the atmosphere a bit in the afternoon; highs 70-75. We cool off once again for Wednesday as the roller coaster ride continues temp-wise. Look for another slight chance of a shower and highs back into the 60’s.
Late week, we climb out of this gloom once again, but you know with this pattern it won’t last long. Expect low 70’s and sunshine for Thursday, then we modify into the 75-80 range for both Friday and Saturday. In what shouldn’t be a surprise, expect clouds on the increase for late Saturday, and another possible Jekyll and Hyde weekend on the menu for next week. More tropical moisture, clouds, rain, and humidity look to creep back in for Sunday and early into the following week.
