NYC Light Snow Chance Remains Viable

Good morning everyone. Relatively mild air has set in and we have a couple of nice days ahead. However, we return to a taste February as our next system might bring some light snow to the area, then we go cold Monday and Tuesday. The long range remains problematic for those looking for a major snowstorm to round out February, and we’ll see some big swings as far as temps.

For today and tomorrow, look for mid 50’s and relatively mild weather for this time of year. Depending on when clouds start arriving tomorrow and the final wind profile, we may see some upper 50’s to near 60 tomorrow.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds will increase tomorrow night and we’ll have the slight chance of some light snow just before or after sunrise. I’m still iffy on this and it could go either way. Right now the chance for a downside (or nothing), is far great than upside accumulations. I’m going with a dusting to 2″ possible in spots, and we’ll keep an eye on the radar to see if this pans out at all.

Clouds decrease Monday AM and we have a cold one in the mid to upper 20’s; then we modify a bit but still remain cold on Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
