NYC Mostly Pleasant Stretch Ahead
Good late morning everyone. We have a beautiful day here today in NYC to properly honor those lost on September 11, 2001, and we hold onto this weather for a decent block aside from some late rumbles Sunday.
SATELLITE
We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds today, comfortable temps, and highs a fairly dry mid to upper 70’s.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow, the clouds clear out for the most part, and it’ll be on the seasonably cool side. High pressure dominates with 70-75 degree temps.
Our next front passes through on Sunday, and that’ll have the chance to spark off a few scattered showers and storms. Most of them will go to our north, but the tail end of the line could reach down into the area. Highs a somewhat humid near 80, but it won’t be oppressive.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Cooler air lags behind that front, and a light NW breeze might help gets us back to a dry 80 degrees under full sunshine on Monday.
Tuesday is when the cooler stuff moves in, and we should see 70-75 dominate the picture through Wednesday. We’ll warm up to near 80 again next Thursday and Friday, then we’ll wait to see the timing of our next front for the following weekend to call the ball on temps.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
