NYC Nasty Overnight Tomorrow Wednesday
Good morning everyone. Enjoy today because that’s the last time you’ll see a full day of sunshine till around Sunday. We have a nasty one-two punch coming our way, with the 2nd punch not being too bad, but it’ll keep clouds and showers in the forecast to end the week. Our primary system late tomorrow and Wednesday will give us the chance of some heavy rain and localized flooding in poor drainage areas.
SATELLITE
Today’s an easy one albeit cool, with sunshine and highs in the mid 50’s. Clouds increase tomorrow with the chance of some afternoon showers, and we remain in the mid 50’s.
WEATHER RADAR
The bigger rains head in tomorrow night, specifically before sunrise and into the morning commute for Wednesday. Expect rain, heavy at times, maybe a rumble of thunder, and highs in the mid 50’s again. Steady/heavy rain will taper off and become on and off in nature as the day wears on.
Thursday is no picnic either, but I think we lighten up the rain a bit. Our second system will move through, keeping showers in the forecast, but it should be on & off and light to moderate. More mid 50’s are expected if you didn’t catch the theme for the week.
We’ll have the chance of some scattered showers Friday, and we might see a few blue patches later in the day. Highs again in the mid 50’s.
We’ll keep the chance of a scattered shower int he forecast for Saturday under clouds and sun. This time, if we get enough sun, we might reach near 60. The first time the sun returns to do some full time work will be on Sunday. It won’t do much through as more mid 50’s are expected.
