NYC Perfect Spring Sunday Today

NYC Perfect Spring Sunday Today

Good morning everyone. We’re off to a fine start today and lining up the perfect spring day for early May. We’ll have some increasing clouds late and overnight showers, but that won’t interfere with the core of today and most of tomorrow. Things will cool down Tuesday and Wednesday, but we bounce back fairly quickly for Thursday, onward.

We have full sunshine this morning into early afternoon, then high clouds will increase. We’ll have the perfect day with light winds and highs in the mid 70’s. Clouds lower and thicken tonight with the chance of some showers, lows near 60 with that thermal blanket.

We’ll have AM clouds tomorrow, then PM sunshine. We squeeze out one more nice day before the cooler air sneaks in; highs in the mid 70’s again.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds will introduce themselves on Tuesday for a mix of sun and clouds and the slight chance of a few scattered showers. Highs will be in the mid 60’s. Sunshine returns returns on Wednesday, but we remain on the cooler side with mid to upper 60’s.

Thursday through Saturday is an absolute winner. Look for dry conditions, sunshine, and mid 70’s on Thursday. We’ll go for 75-80 Friday and Saturday, but a few spots may break 80 if the wind profile can hold together.

Look for increasing clouds on Sunday with the chance of some showers. We’ll hold off on the highs, but for now we can provide a wider range of 65-75 depending on the clouds and precip.

While we were hoping for a mid-May ridge, the long range actually looks very questionable and on the cooler side. The pattern we’ve been fighting against, wants to return. This means a predominantly cooler flow, with these 1-3 day blocks of milder weather depending on the wind and clouds.
