NYC Quiet Stretch Begins Through Friday
Good morning everyone. Our windy rainmaker from yesterday is long past us now and clouds will begin to decrease as our day goes on. A quiet and rather dry 6-7 days will ensue, and there’s nothing really to discuss until mid-next weekend where we will be watching our next system.
SATELLITE
As the day wears on, we’ll see more and more blue skies. steady westerlies will keep things feeling on the cold side, but we’ll still see mid 40’s as highs.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow, a reinforcing shot of cool air will bring sun & clouds and the slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry. Highs again in the mid 40’s.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
That reinforcing shot of cool air will help sink us back down into the low 40’s and upper 20’s for lows at night for the rest of the week till Friday. We’ll modify slightly Friday as we return to mid 40’s, but remain dry throughout.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Our next system that we’re watching is a potential coastal low that will be sourced from the Gulf states. Theres not a lot of cold air to work with and the path of this system is still uncertain. Many social media outlets are calling for a major snowstorm, but a quick exit well south of us, or even an inland-low, are all possible scenarios at this point.
It’s too early at this time to discuss anything other than we’re watching to see what develops, if anything at all.
MANY THANKS TO TROPICAL TIDBITS FOR THE USE OF MAPS
