NYC Quiet Week Ahead With Varying Temps

Good morning everyone. Wishing you all a peaceful day today on the 20th anniversary of September 11th, and we’ll have perfect weather to pay our respects to those lost. We have a quiet pattern overall and mostly comfortable, but a couple of warmer days will pay a visit here and there.

Expect sunny skies today, a gentle breeze, and highs in the 75-80 range. Overnight, we won’t dip that low, which is the typical marker that warmer air is creeping in.

Sunshine sticks around tomorrow, but we go for mid to upper 80’s depending on the wind profile. It’ll be cooler on Long Island and south-facing shores.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll continue those mid to upper 80’s for Monday, slightly more humid, and we’ll have the slight chance of thunderstorms overnight ahead of our next cold front. Tuesday is looking pleasantly mild/warm again as we sink back down into the upper 70’s to low 80’s.

There’s a chance very warm weather returns for Wednesday as mid to upper 80’s bounce back, but then we return back to reality Thursday and Friday.

Overall I think this pattern continues as summer gives us its last gasps. We’ll have mostly average to very slightly above average temps, with some very warm days sprinkled in here and there.
