NYC Quiet Workweek Hurricane Larry Stays Over Open Water

Good morning everyone. We have a fantastic Labor Day Monday here today, and the rest of the week isn’t looking too shabby either. Hurricane Larry will remain away from Bermuda as well as the East Coast, with the only threat being enhanced surf and rip tides later this week.

We’ll have some morning clouds today and then a PM mix of sun & clouds. Westerly winds will help boost us into the low to mid 80’s, and it’ll be dry & comfortably warm.

WEATHER RADAR

Tomorrow we dip a bit back into the near 80 realm, but we’ll have plenty of sunshine and comfortable conditions. Humidity creeps back up for Wednesday ahead of our next front, and we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds. Look for mid 80’s to return and the slight chance of a PM shower or storm.

Thursday and Friday both look fantastic, with sunshine, low humidity, and highs near 80 each day.

In the tropics, Hurricane Larry is fairly impressive structurally, with winds at 120mph. Last night’s front here will help keep Larry over the ocean, keeping it away from Bermuda and the East Coast. Look for some rough surf and rough inlets later in the week, but that’s about all Larry has for us.
