NYC Rain Expected Saturday Dry Sunday
Good afternoon everyone. We have two more very nice and dry days (albeit cool), but then clouds return for some soaking rain Saturday afternoon. The good news is that this is a 1 day event, and sunshine returns on Sunday, plus another winner-of-a-week ahead.
SATELLITE
For the rest of the week, we continue sunshine and cool conditions today, with highs happening right now in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. We bounce back tomorrow with 65-70 degree temps and more sunshine. Clouds increase overnight tomorrow as our frontal system comes in from the west, and our rain from the southeast gets drawn up the coast.
WEATHER RADAR
Expect cloudy skies with PM Rain and wind for Saturday. We’ll remain OK temp-wise as our front is to our west, with highs a humid 65-70. Rain continues overnight, but we clear things out for Sunday for a really beautiful day. Expect increasing sunshine and highs in the mid 70’s, possibly upper 70’s.
Your workweek next week looks nice with sunshine and 70-75 degree temps. Friday remains questionable with a few areas of disturbed weather lingering around the area and we can’t tell what the setup will be yet. So far, the nicest day of the holiday weekend remains Memorial Day itself on Monday, where most of the shmutz should be gone.
