NYC Remnant Storms Stabilize Air Delaying Later Action

NYC Remnant Storms Stabilize Air Delaying Later Action

Good morning everyone. Clouds and showers/rumbles from the dying line of powerful storms last night, has stabilized the air enough where it’ll take some time for any scattered action to get going again. We will see some blue breaks as the day wears on, and that’ll be enough for the sun to juice up the atmosphere once again for some scattered action later in the evening. While the action doesn’t look widespread, we could see some scattered strong to severe weather. All of this activity is the result of a passing cold front, which will provide us with a really beautiful weekend.

For today, that rain will slowly pass to our east, then we should see some sun & clouds with highs in the low 80’s. Storms will fire up again later, with most of the action upstate. However, we could see some scattered storms down here with the highest chance of action being northern areas of the NYC area, the North Shore of Long Island, and the East end.

WEATHER RADAR

We have a spectacular day tomorrow with comfortably warm conditions. Expect relatively dry air, light northwest winds, and highs in the mid 80’s.

Sunday will be warmer with highs 85-90, but we remain on the comfortable side relative to what we’ve been experiencing.

Juicy air slowly returns with sun & clouds both Monday and Tuesday, highs in the upper 80’s to near 90. Tuesday will be the first day we introduce the slight chance of a PM storm.
