NYC Showery PM Another System Late Wednesday Thursday
Good morning everyone. Showers have pretty much cleared the area except for eastern Long Island, but we have another round moving in later, especially during the night. Other than that, we are quiet till late Wednesday/Thursday as another system heads in. This one could bring with it some onset mixed precip/snow for interior parts of the Northeast.
SATELLITE
We’ll have some AM fog this morning, and clouds generally stick around. We might have a few blue patches here and there, and we’ll have a humid 60-65 degree day. Showers move back in later, and we could have a few rumbles overnight.
We start off sunny tomorrow, but clouds roll back in. Look for highs in the near 60 range, but we remain dry regardless of the clouds.
WEATHER RADAR
The sun returns for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the near 60 range again; then we start keeping an eye on our next system for late Wednesday/Thursday.
This is a “rhyming” system to today’s, but some colder air might be in place as it heads in. This may give interior parts of the Northeast the chance for some onset mix and/or snow, changing to a cold rain. We’ll keep an eye on it all, but regardless, we’re looking at nothing significant.
Sunshine and seasonably cool conditions return for Friday and the weekend. Meanwhile, the long range is looking active, but we take it one system at a time.
