NYC Snow Hole Continues With Another Quiet Week

NYC Snow Hole Continues With Another Quiet Week

Good morning everyone and welcome back to the mild temps and still no real snow to speak of. We enter another quiet period which essentially brings us near to mid-February with nothing major on the immediate horizon. If things continue this way, we’ll need a late-season “big one” in order to make up for the snow “deficit”. We don’t have a moisture deficit through, with more rain expected on Thursday for a showery & mild day.

We’ll have more clouds than sun today, with highs in the mid to upper 40’s. Upper 40’s will be attainable if we can squeeze out a little extra sunshine through those clouds.

Expect a mix of sun & clouds tomorrow, with highs near 50 and quiet.

WEATHER RADAR

More quiet weather is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with dry conditions, more sun & cloud mix, and highs near 50. Clouds will roll in Wednesday night with our next rainmaker.

Look for a cloudy and showery day on Thursday. It won’t be a total rainout, but take the umbrella with you just in case. Highs will be in the 50-55 range.

We’ll only clear out partially on Friday with moisture returning late Friday night, but we’ll have a mild on with mid to upper 50’s expected.

So far for your weekend, we’re looking at some rain possible Friday night into Saturday, and we’ll see IF some cold air can sneak if for a parting mix or some flakes. Right now I’m not convinced, let’s see how the week goes.
